Passionate about the power of creativity in education and community settings, with a particular focus on access, neurodiversity, SEND and holistic pedagogy. Skilled in leading projects for diverse groups, including early years, mainstream schools, and SEN settings, and spaces for older learners/ creatives. Artistically ambitious. I am neurodivergent, along with a long-term medical condition. These access needs effect my work IN A POSTIVE WAY!

NEW VIC THEATRE - Eduction Practitioner

Birmingham Hippodrome – Artist Facilitator (Creative Partnerships & Learning and participation)
Aug 2022 – AUG 2025 (please note I am still a freelancer for the hippodrome)
 Artist for projects in mainstream, SEN schools and community settings (ages 3-25). Responsibilities include workshop design and delivery, directing productions with young people, contributing to access and sustainability initiatives, and collaborating on major partnerships including ‘Turtle Opera’ with Turtle Key Arts. Co launched the new SENYT program for ages12- 16 .

 

Birmingham Repertory Theatre (The REP) – Lead Facilitator, Early Years (Young REP)/ Creative learning practitioner
Feb 2024 – AUG 2025 (please note I am still freelancer for THE REP)
Responsible for developing and leading a bespoke early year’s drama programme for 3–7-year-olds. Includes session design, delivery, and managing a small team. Additionally, has delivered ‘Tool kit’ workshops as part of the REP’s wider talent development. Summer school work, including EYFS and Spy school (ages 7-14). Supporting festival work (ages 5 -25).

 

LITTLE ANGLE THEATRE – Freelance workshop practitioner.

Delivery a variety of puppetry workshops (perfromacne and crafting) for different ages.  With a focus on EFYS and sesonry

 

ARTIS FOUNDATION - Freelance workshop practitioner.

Music and drama curriculum lead, managed external arts provision, directed school productions, and managed and coordinated the Holiday Activities & Food programme, including staffing, budgeting, and artist booking.

Harmony of Time – Producer, Director, Facilitator
Apr – Jul 2021
Co-directed a multi-arts education film project with all year groups at St Peter’s School, London, incorporating original music, puppetry, movement, and drama. Responsible for delivery, filming, editing, and all administration task including over seeing budgest and freelancers.

 

Oxford World Theatre – Creative Team Member
2013 – 2017
International theatre-making and direction with children and young adults, particularly in Russia and Oxford. Created original musicals and Shakespeare adaptations for global audiences. Wrote and produced The Whale in the Bathtub, later broadcast on Russian TV and performed professionally at Camden fringe.

Worked across 20+ mainstream and SEN schools (primary and secondary), including one-to-one support for SEND and EYFS settings. Delivered arts-based learning, general TA cover, and SEN support. Won an award for ‘Best Circle Time’ while at Busy Bees Nursery.
